As an experiential trauma therapy center, we often integrate the body into our healing process. Combining trauma therapy with holistic practices can significantly accelerate healing and enhance emotional regulation. The holistic techniques we offer during our sessions are particularly beneficial after an EMDR processing session, following longer intensive sessions, or after multi-day workshops.
Our holistic provider, Linda Degnan-Solomons, not only employs these techniques in her sessions but also teaches her clients how to implement them on their own. This empowers clients to access these valuable resources whenever they need them.
Holistic Techniques Offered
The following modalities can be implemented across a single session, with a client’s permission:

- Somatic Reset (20-45 mins) is a body‑centered practice designed to help release stored tension, calm your nervous system, and shift from a state of stress into one of ease, presence, and balance.
- Reiki (20-120 mins) is an energy healing method (hands on or off) that activates natural healing of the body; to unblock energy where people feel stuck emotionally, spiritually, or physically.
- Reflexology/Foot Massage(20-30 mins) is a hands-on therapy focused on applying pressure to specific points on the feet, hands, or ears that are believed to correspond to different body parts.
- Self-Acupressure (20-30 mins) is a safe, needle-free technique that uses finger or hand pressure on specific points to relieve stress, pain, and improve overall well-being.
- Chronic Pain Management (20-30 mins) is meant to help you listen to what your body is telling you. In this service you will collaborate to find the best way to decrease the pain your body is feeling.
- Deluxe Package (60 mins) includes both reiki and reflexology in one session. This is recommended if dealing with burnout or to regulate before or after an individual therapy session.

Linda’s career has focused on supporting clients in behavioral health and addiction treatment, most recently as a pain management nurse specialist. Linda received the Caron Foundation Medical Professional of the Year award in 2015 for her work with patients suffering from chronic pain. She is a Reiki Master and a Life Coach. Linda completed Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Trauma training at Mirmont Treatment Center where she worked for 15 years. While working at Mirmont Linda worked with many patients who had emotional and physical trauma, including First Responders. She has worked with professionals to decrease burnout while improving work/life balance and has been practicing in outpatient settings for over 30 years.
Linda combines her nursing expertise in mental health and addictions with her coaching and holistic knowledge, utilizing both Western Medicine and Eastern Philosophy. Her interest in non-Western approaches began after a back injury from a car accident at age 25. Linda has a unique ability to put her clients at ease with her warm and nurturing personality, and a special talent to promote wellness through touch. Her clients often refer to her with the nickname “Magic Hands” because of the healing they experience through her holistic services.
“We know that our bodies ‘keep score’. They talk to us, but we have not been taught how to listen. I can help you learn how to interpret what your body is trying to tell you. These modalities will enhance your trauma therapy sessions, leaving you relaxed and recharged. You will learn self-acupressure techniques to deal with pain and stress, foot reflexology to help ground you, and reiki for deep relaxation or healing.”
Cost
