About the Workshop

The process of recovery can be complicated. The natural world can seem complicated, too. Being with nature shows us that complicated systems often operate with simplicity. Come discover how BriteLife Recovery, in partnership with the Center for Nature Informed Therapy, looks to the natural world for insight, guidance, and wisdom that informs our perspective on trauma, recovery, and the human journey to mental wellness.

Learning Objectives

  • Recognize how evolutionary biology can inform the disease model of addiction
  • Describe how we can use nature as a metaphor for recovery
  • Explain how nature can be attended post treatment for ongoing support

He began at BriteLife Recovery in 2025, helping to set and reinforce quality standards in the clinical department.
