Affectional orientation is a newer term, which affirms that the experience or attraction of someone in the LGBTQQIAP+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, asexual, polysexual, and other gender identities) community transcends just their sexual experience and embraces their full affectional, romantic experience as a human being. The purpose of this group is to bring together individuals of the LGBTQQIAP+ community who have experienced a disconnect between their religious/spiritual self and affectional orientation and unify both identities. Together, we will spend our time exploring your identities and building a more cohesive and unified self through interpersonal and psychodramatic group therapy techniques.

This is an open and ongoing group for adults who have experienced a disconnect in their religious/spiritual self and affectional orientation and are seeking to bridge the divide and explore their whole self.

If you are interested in joining this group, please contact us at 484-440-9416. Lewis will schedule a short call with each participant to assess eligibility prior to joining the group.

Lewis specializes in working with the LGBTQQIAP+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, asexual, pansexual, and other gender identities) community and the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) community. As an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist, self-identifying Black cisgender male, and spiritual being, Lewis actively engages in ongoing education to ensure he is providing his clients with support that is representative of their unique and beautiful stories. In his role, he supports our mission of expanding our trauma services to clients regardless of financial situation. Learn more about Lewis on his bio page.
