Helping profession students face challenges specific to helping others. Struggling to balance the burdens of work, school, internship, and life obligations often leads to high levels of burnout and exhaustion for graduate students. Join this free support group as we collectively encounter and transform these challenges.
Group facilitator Sandy will use techniques to build relationships, process shared experiences of burnout and frustration, and help students transform their experiences.
About Sandy
Sandy Doria (she/her/hers) is a graduate student in Counseling and Drama Therapy at Lesley University. Sandy’s therapeutic approach focuses on harnessing our strengths for healing, identity exploration, and empowerment. She values collaboration and recognizes the importance of co-creating a space where one can express themselves authentically to be seen and understood. She brings creativity into the therapeutic process and invites many forms of communication, including verbal or non-verbal and symbolic or literal expression. In addition to drama therapy and creative arts, Sandy also integrates EMDR and psychodrama into her work. Learn more about Sandy here.
