DESCRIPTION:Facilitated by: Linda Degnan-Solomons\, BSN\, RN\nDate: Wednesday\, September 16\, 2026\nCost: Free\nLocation: Virtual/Zoom\nCE Hours: 1 CE Hour for NBCC\, PA SW\, LPC\, LMFT\, and Psychologists\, PA SW\, LPC\, LMFT\, and Psychologists \nAbout the Workshop\nFeeling overwhelmed\, exhausted\, or like you’re putting yourself last?  You do not have to wait until burnout takes over.  In this one-hour webinar\, you will learn how to recognize the early warning signs of burn out and discover practical strategies to prevent it before it becomes overwhelming. \nYou will also expedience a 5-minute meditation and easy somatic stretches you can use anytime and can easily be shared with others.  We will explore simple wellness practices\, including various holistic approaches to support relaxation and well-being. \nLearning Objectives\n\nDefine burnout and its symptoms\nLearn three strategies to prevent burnout\nIdentify  personal and professional factors that create stress\n\n \nAbout the Facilitator\nLinda Degnan Solomons\, BSN\, RN\, is dedicated to treating the whole person – mind\, body\, and spirit. Linda graduated from the Presbyterian School of Nursing and earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from LaSalle University. She studied holistic modalities at the Center for Human Integration in Philadelphia. Linda graduated from the Institute for Professional Excellence Coaching in 2001. \nLinda’s career has focused on supporting clients in behavioral health and addiction treatment\, most recently as a pain management nurse specialist. Linda received the Caron Foundation Medical Professional of the Year award in 2015 for her work with patients suffering from chronic pain. She is a Reiki Master and a Life Coach. Linda completed Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Trauma training at Mirmont Treatment Center where she worked for 15 years. While working at Mirmont Linda worked with many patients who had emotional and physical trauma\, including First Responders. She has worked with professionals to decrease burnout while improving work/life balance and has been practicing in outpatient settings for over 30 years. \nContinuing Education Hours and Training Credits\nPlease note that participants must attend the entire training event to receive CE/training credits.
