What is not so universal is the process we undergo in navigating life after loss. Grief is a process that is unique to the individual\, and no definitive timeline exists for this process. Grief is not something one ‘gets over’\, though it is something we can successfully get through. Many times\, grief experiences have (ripple) effects that are seen and unseen in the midst of powerful emotion and the reorganization that occurs in experiencing death.
