SUMMARY:One-to-One Psychodrama Directing: Trauma-Informed Empty Chair Work
DESCRIPTION:Friday May 3rd 9am – 5:00pm | 7 CE Hours \nCost: $225 | $155 students (*write to us if cost is your only barrier) \nPhoenix Center – 524 N. Providence Road Media\, PA 19063 \nPresented by Dr. Scott Giacomucci\, DSW\, LCSW\, BCD\, CGP\, FAAETS\, TEP \nThis workshop is designed for professionals and psychodrama trainees interested in learning to direct psychodramas in individual sessions. The workshop will provide all participants with a practicum experience of facilitating 1-1 psychodrama using the empty chair and concretization. Didactic content will be presented on the history\, theory\, and practice of 1-1 psychodrama including its strengths and limitations. Trauma-informed principles will be integrated with a focus on strengths\, safety\, and post-traumatic growth.
