Providence Road Media\, PA 19063 \nAbout the workshop: \nThis workshop is designed for professionals and psychodrama trainees interested in an intensive training focused on learning to direct psychodramas in individual sessions. The weekend will provide all participants with multiple practicum experiences of facilitating 1-1 psychodrama using the empty chair and concretization. Didactic content will be presented on the history\, theory\, and practice of 1-1 psychodrama including its strengths and limitations. Trauma-informed principles will be integrated throughout the weekend with a focus on strengths\, safety\, and post-traumatic growth. The experiential learning structures include demonstrations of psychodrama and other experiential processes which often include (optional) personal disclosures from participants. While personal growth is often a byproduct of experiential learning in psychodrama\, the primary purpose of this workshop is training. If you are seeking a workshop for personal growth\, or seeking a professional training event that is entirely didactic (lecture/powerpoint)\, this is probably not the best workshop for you. \n*Please note that we will no longer require participants to wear masks at events; you may still choose to wear a mask.
