Providence Road Media\, PA 19063 \nInternal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy was developed by Dr. Richard Schwartz and is an incredibly validating and healing form of individual psychotherapy. The IFS model invites us to approach our and others’ internal worlds with curiosity\, compassion\, connectedness\, clarity\, courage\, calm\, confidence\, and creativity. IFS asserts that each of us has many parts inside of us who\, through trauma or other emotional injury\, are catapulted into specific roles in order to keep us safe. IFS allows us to heal our parts\, release them from these roles\, and cultivate harmonious internal relationships and interactions.
