Providence Road Media\, PA 19063 \nPresented by Dr. Scott Giacomucci\, DSW\, LCSW\, BCD\, FAAETS\, TEP \n 21 CE Hours for PA social workers\, counselors\, marriage and family therapists and psychologists; NBCC Hours | 21 training hours for ISEP and psychodrama certifications \nThis workshop is designed for professionals and psychodrama trainees interested in an intensive training focused on learning to direct psychodramas in individual sessions. The weekend will provide all participants with multiple practicum experiences of facilitating 1-1 psychodrama sessions. Didactic content will be presented on the history\, theory\, and practice of 1-1 psychodrama including its strengths and limitations. Multiple approaches and interventions in 1-1 psychodrama will be offered including use of the empty chair\, concretization\, doubling\, role reversal\, the mirror\, and future projection. \nLearning Objectives:  \n1). The experiential learning structures include demonstrations of psychodrama and other experiential processes which often include (optional) personal disclosures from participants. While personal growth is often a byproduct of experiential learning in psychodrama\, the primary purpose of this workshop is training. If you are seeking a workshop for personal growth\, or seeking a professional training event that is entirely didactic (lecture/powerpoint)\, this is probably not the best workshop for you. \n*Please note that all participants will be required to wear a mask while in the building due to the rising covid-19 cases in Delaware County and the Philadelphia area.
