DESCRIPTION:SECOND INTERNATIONAL TELE’DRAMA CONFERENCE – https://www.teledrama.org/ \nONLINE CONFERENCE – Sept 9-12 \nLiving the Dream: International Sociometry & Action in the Virtual Space \n  \nDreaming of Research\, Writing\, and Teaching: The Psychodrama Scholar-Practitioner \nDr. Scott Giacomucci\, DSW\, LCSW\, BCD\, FAAETS\, PAT \n  \nThis workshop is designed for psychodrama practitioners/students interested in expanding their role repertoire to include researcher\, writer\, or teacher. This experiential workshop will include teaching on Morenian history/philosophy and sociometric/psychodramatic processes related the scholar-practitioner identity. Participants will reflect on their own relationship to research\, writing\, and teaching while further warming-up to these roles and supporting others to do the same. Moreno’s role modeling as a scholar-practitioner will be highlighted\, along with discussion on the importance of integrating psychodrama into academia. \n  \nDr. Scott Giacomucci is the Director/Founder of the Phoenix Center for Experiential Trauma Therapy; Director of Trauma Services at Mirmont Treatment Center; and Adjunct Professor & Research Associate at Bryn Mawr College. He serves on the Executive Council of ASGPP and is co-chair of the Research Committee. His textbook\, Social Work\, Sociometry\, & Psychodrama published by Springer Nature (2021)\, has been downloaded over 50\,000 times. He is Co-Chief Editor of the Journal of Psychodrama\, Sociometry\, and Group Psychotherapy\, is Co-Editor of the first international psychodrama book series\, and co-edited the Autobiography of a Genius (2019) by Jacob Moreno. \nIdentify one historical example of Moreno’s involvement in academia \nDescribe one way psychodrama would benefit from more integration with academia \nExplain one benefit of working as a scholar-practitioner
