This workshop presents an overview of trauma-focused psychodrama with the morning focused on group work and the afternoon focused on individual psychodrama. Content will be taught experientially including demonstrations, sociometric warm-ups, and 1-1 facilitation practice for all participants. The basics of safe and effective trauma-focused psychodrama will be presented including content on safety, strengths-based work, neurobiology, and trauma-informed principles. This workshop is designed to teach practical skills for practitioners new to psychodrama or warming-up for in-person psychodrama work again.
*This is an in-person workshop at the Phoenix Center’s newly renovated event space. Participants who have not received a Covid-19 vaccination are required to wear a mask throughout the event. Masks are optional for vaccinated participants. This may change depending on updated Covid-19 information closer to the date of the workshop.

1). Identify one experiential process for establishing safety and connection
2). Describe the importance of strength-based roles
3). Explain the importance of role reversal
