About the Webinar:

This webinar provides an introduction to somatic therapy, a holistic approach to healing that integrates the body into the therapeutic process, recognizing that trauma, stress, and emotional experiences are stored not just in the mind but also within the nervous system and physical body. Participants will learn the foundational principles of somatic therapy, its impact on trauma recovery, and how it differs from traditional talk therapy. Whether you are new to somatic therapy or looking to deepen your understanding, this webinar will offer valuable knowledge and practical tools for integrating somatic awareness into your own life or professional practice.

  1. Identify at least two principles of somatic therapy and their role in emotional healing.
  2. Describe one key benefit of somatic approaches in trauma healing.
  3. Demonstrate one basic somatic technique to help regulate the nervous system.
