Mental Health, Trauma, and Addiction impact an individual on multiple levels, including the mind, body, spirit, and relationships. Experiential Therapy, Sociometry, and Psychodrama approach healing from a bio-psycho-social-spiritual lens. This workshop will explore the connections between mind, body, and spirit while highlighting the impact of trauma and addiction on each aspect. The interplay between mind-body-spirit of the professional and mind-body-spirit of the client will be considered as it relates to the therapeutic relationship. This workshop will use both sociometry and psychodrama as teaching processes.
Learning Objectives:
Explain the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit
Describe why experiential therapy is a holistic approach
Identify one way that the professional’s state of mind/body/spirit impacts a client

Phoenix Center is an Approved Provider of Act 48 Credits for PA educators. Please inquire about Act 48 credits for each individual workshop.
Experiential and Psychodrama training hours:
Participants at these workshops can receive credit towards certifications through the American Board of Examiners in Sociometry, Psychodrama, and Group Psychotherapy* as well as the International Society of Experiential Professionals (CP, CET, and CES). *As a Practitioner Applicant for Trainer, Scott can provide 160 of the required 780 training hours towards CP certification for psychodrama.
