This presentation will delve into the mental health of immigrant and refugee communities, focusing on understanding the stages of migration to the United States, the various factors affecting their well-being, and effective ways to provide support. Attendees will gain insights into the unique challenges faced by these communities and learn strategies to foster their mental health and resilience.
Learning Objectives:
- Describe the stages of migration
- Identify at least one example that is unique to the immigrant and refugee experience
- Understand at least one factor that promotes well-being
