Spontaneity-Creativity: Warming-up to Change in Action

Psychodrama’s theory of change, spontaneity-creativity theory, will be presented through Moreno’s Canon of Creativity and explored in action using role playing techniques from psychodrama and sociodrama. The importance of the warming-up process will be emphasized as it relates to intrapsychic, interpersonal, and societal change. The essential parallel process of creating change both internally and externally will be framed through social work’s two client system theory and Morenean philosophy. The neurospirituality and clinical research on spontaneity will be referenced.
