Experiential TeleTherapy Supervised Practice
ONLINE WORKSHOP | *2 CE Hours for PA social workers, counselors, marriage and family therapists and psychologists (No NBCC Credits) OR 2 Experiential Supervision Hours
Facilitated by Dr. Scott Giacomucci, DSW, LCSW, CTTS, CET III, PAT
Cost: $50 ($35 for students)
This workshop will focus on safely and effectively using experiential therapy techniques through teletherapy. A brief history of psychodrama and technology will be included with emphasis on teletherapy as the new normal in psychotherapy. Participants will explore ways to modify simple experiential techniques for use in teletherapy (individual & group) sessions.
Learning Objectives:
Identify one historical relationship to teletherapy and Jacob Moreno; Explain how modify one sociometry tool for teletherapy; Describe one unique benefit of experiential work through teletherapy
